First thing, first – Happy New Year! 🙂
Most (organized?) food bloggers did their top 10 of the year 2014, top 14 of ’14, or top something of 2014 in the actual year 2014. I, however, march to the beat of my own drum. I wanted to do the most viewed recipes of 2014 when the year was actually over. Why? I wanted to fully and accurately reflect. Well, that and I can’t do anything like a normal person I suppose. And, I wanted to post the 007 James Bond Champagne Cocktail.
Anyways, no more excuses. Let’s get down to business. I cooked it, blogged it, and you read about it. Here is the top ten most viewed recipes on NSN of 2014. Plus a few Boy and I lovingly devoured, that did not make the list.
#1 Brussels Sprouts and Pearl Onion Gratin
#2 Sweet Potato Hash, Scrambled Egg, Chorizo & Queso Stuffed Roasted Poblano Peppers
#3 Asiago, Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Potato Galette
This is my personal favorite of the year!
#4 Roasted Chestnut & Sausage Cornbread Stuffing Turkey Roulade with Gravy
#5 Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Danish Braid with Pecan-Struesel Topping & Vanilla Glaze
#6 Raspberry & Brown Sugared Pecan Brie en Croute
#7 Herb Crusted Standing Rib Roast with Horseradish-Red Wine Gravy
#8 Goat Cheese, Walnut, Pear, Honey & Thyme filled Phyllo Cups
#9 French Onion Soup {inspired} Arancini
#10 Crispy Roasted Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus with Lemon-Herb Aioli
My honorable mentions for 2014:
Jalapeno Cauliflower ‘Meatballs’ with Bacon-Chive Aioli
Creamy Yellowfin Tuna Lettuce Wraps with Horseradish Aioli
Boy’s favorites that missed the list:
Pulled Pork Sandwiches on Texas Toast with Sweet Jalapeno Coleslaw
Slow Cooker Beer Braised Baja Chicken Tacos
There you have it, the list of the most popular recipes on NSN of 2014. Did your favorite make the list?? If not, I’d love to know! Leave me a comment below 🙂 As always, Cheers!
