Glossy, perfectly balanced, and magically delicious, this Honey Balsamic Vinegar Dressing will turn plain leafy greens into a bowl of pure joy. Featuring tangy balsamic swirled with sweet honey, smooth olive oil, complex Dijon, and a kiss of umami-rich soy sauce to create a salad dressing that's equal parts boldly bright, totally irresistible, and effortless to make.
Combine Ingredients. To a 2-cup measure, medium bowl, or mason jar, add the balsamic, oil, honey, Dijon, soy, a heaping ½ teaspoon salt, and scant ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper.
Whisk or Shake Dressing. Grab a whisk and vigorously stir or close the jar and vigorously shake until the ingredients are fully combined and emulsified.
Taste and Adjust Honey Balsamic Dressing. Grab a spoon, give the dressing a taste, and then adjust it to suit your personal preferences – adding more vinegar for tang, honey for sweetness, oil for richness, and salt for overall flavor.
Use or Store Salad Dressing. Use as the balsamic vinegar honey dressing on salads, as a dipping sauce for veggies, or as marinade for chicken and veggies. Alternatively, you can store the salad dressing in a jar or airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
