Optional Garnishes: Strawberries, Strawberry Syrup, Sprinkles, White Chocolate Shavings
For the whipped cream: Add the heavy cream, vanilla and sugar to a mixing bowl and whip until you reach stiff peaks. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
For the white chocolate rim: Melt the white chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave for 15 minute increments, stirring in between, until melted. Dip the rim of a glass into the white chocolate and let excess drip off. Immediately dust the white chocolate with sprinkles. Transfer the glasses to the refrigerator or freezer until ready to use.
For the milkshake: Place all ingredients for the milkshake in a blender. Blend until smooth.
To serve: Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream. Garnish as desired. Enjoy.

I highly encourage you to make these milkshakes your own! While there are many different adjustments you can make to the recipe, I normally make mine one of two ways. For a more vanilla flavor - use vanilla ice cream and nix the strawberries. To make these milkshakes with a more pronounced strawberry flavor - use strawberry ice cream and add the strawberries (4 or more) to the shake. Or, feel free to mix and match!
While the recipe includes homemade whipped cream, feel free to save yourself some time and use store bought!
All the garnishes are optional, but highly recommended. I mean, if you are going to make a boozy milkshake you might as well pull out all the stops.
I ended up doubling the recipe. I poured half the milkshake into an ice cream carton and stored it in the freezer, that way I could nosh on a boozy milkshake whenever my little heart desired. It lasted less than 24 hours before it was all gone. So, I obviously recommend you do this. And quadruple the amount. :)
