Instructions
Beat cream cheese + butter: In a stand mixer or a large bowl with a handheld mixer on medium speed, beat together the cream cheese and the butter until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add sugars + flavorings: Add the brown sugar, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, apple pie seasoning (if using) and the salt. Beat on low until just incorporated and then scrape down the sides and bottom of bowl. Increase the speed to medium and beat for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until smooth and fluffy.
Add ½ cup mix-ins: Add 1/3 cup of your favorite mix-ins to the bowl. Beat on low to combine or use a rubber spatula to fold/stir until the mix ins are evenly distributed.
Chill – OPTIONAL: Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and transfer to the refrigerator. Let the dip chill for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.
Garnish: Use the rubber spatula to transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle with caramel or chocolate sauce (if using) and sprinkle with remaining mix-ins.
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dippers and enjoy!
Notes
Seasoning: You can omit the apple pie spice or substitute it with pumpkin pie spice, chia seasoning, or your favorite dessert seasonings, such as nutmeg and cardamom.
Mix-ins, Garnishes & Dippers: Please see the post for an extensive list of delicious ingredients you can use as mix-ins, garnishes and dippers!
Cream Cheese Dip Variations: Please see the post for how to make variations of this dip, including funfetti dip, pumpkin cheesecake dip, candy bar dip and chia spice dip!
Chilling + Make Ahead: For the best flavor, I recommend making this dip at least 8 hours, or up to overnight in advance. However, you can make it up to 3 days in advance without sacrificing the texture!
