Beat Cream Cheese with Butter: In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a large bowl with a hand-held mixer on MEDIUM speed, beat together the cream cheese and the butter until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add Sugars and Dessert Flavors: Add the brown sugar, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, apple pie seasoning (if using), and the salt to the bowl. Whip on low until the ingredients are JUST incorporated. Stop and use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides and bottom of bowl. Increase the speed to medium and beat for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until smooth and fluffy.
Add 1/3 Cup Desired Mix-Ins: Add 1/3 cup of your favorite mix-ins to the bowl. Beat the ingredients on low until just combined or use a rubber spatula to fold and stir the ingredients until the mix ins are evenly distributed.
Optional, but Recommended - Chill Dip: Cover the bowl of cream cheese dip tightly with plastic wrap and transfer to the refrigerator. Let the dip chill for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight.
Garnish: Use the rubber spatula to transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Taste and adjust the dip for flavor, but keep in mind you'll be adding toppings. Drizzle with caramel or chocolate sauce (if using) and sprinkle the remaining mix-ins all over the top of the dip.
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dippers, such as fruit, cookies, crackers, and wafers, and enjoy!
Notes
Seasoning: You can omit the apple pie spice or substitute it with pumpkin pie spice, chia seasoning, or your favorite dessert seasonings, such as nutmeg and cardamom.

Cream Cheese Dip Variations: Please see the post for how to make variations of this dip, including funfetti dip, pumpkin cheesecake dip, candy bar dip and chia spice dip!
Chilling + Make Ahead: For the best flavor, I recommend making this dip at least 8 hours, or up to overnight in advance. However, you can make it up to 3 days in advance without sacrificing the texture!
