These White Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshakes with Alcohol are thick, rich, sweet and perfectly decadent! This recipe for spiked milkshakes is the ideal way to transform vanilla ice cream into a delicious frosty adult treat!
Optional Garnishes: Strawberries, Strawberry Syrup, Sprinkles, White Chocolate Shavings
Instructions
For the whipped cream: Add the heavy cream, vanilla and sugar to a mixing bowl and whip until you reach stiff peaks. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
For the white chocolate rim: Melt the white chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave for 15 minute increments, stirring in between, until melted. Dip the rim of a glass into the white chocolate and let excess drip off. Immediately dust the white chocolate with sprinkles. Transfer the glasses to the refrigerator or freezer until ready to use.
For the milkshake: Place all ingredients for the milkshake in a blender. Blend until smooth.
To serve: Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream. Garnish as desired. Enjoy.

Notes
I highly encourage you to make these milkshakes your own! While there are many different adjustments you can make to the recipe, I normally make mine one of two ways. For a more vanilla flavor - use vanilla ice cream and nix the strawberries. To make these milkshakes with a more pronounced strawberry flavor - use strawberry ice cream and add the strawberries (4 or more) to the shake. Or, tweak the recipe, mixing and matching flavors to create your own unique shake.
Whipped Cream: While the recipe includes homemade whipped cream, feel free to save yourself some time and use store bought.
All the garnishes are optional, but highly recommended. I mean, if you are going to make a boozy milkshake, you might as well pull out all the stops, right?
Want leftovers? When I want leftovers I will double this milkshake recipe. Then, pour half of the alcoholic milkshake into an ice cream carton. Store it in the freezer, and nosh on a boozy milkshake whenever your little heart desired.
Yield: roughly 3 1/2 CupsNutritional information is an estimate and does not include white chocolate rim, whipped cream or optional garnishes.
